1970 our baby arrived he’s name was Erko and he was the first UK litter by 'Erko v Haus Babbilon'.
Then came our first sable Bosun. I then had two brothers Judd and Marcus who were sired by an obedience
dog.I started to attend obedience classes twice a week at Heelaway dog training club. I joined an all breeds
ringcraft club in Ramsgate and also another training club in Deal. This all kept me very busy and I met
lots of new friends. In 1978 Don had a life changing accident, him with a brain injury and me as
his full time carer. Life became very
hard but the dogs kept me going. In 1985 through no fault of our own we had to up sticks and
move away from all our close friends and family. This was a very bad time in our life but
we arrived in Nottinghamshire not knowing a living soul along with our now six males and
one female, two kittens and two rabbits all in my car. This female was
'Rosetown Rejoyce' ( Panja)
Although times were still very hard we pulled ourselves together and made the best of what
we had. I joined Midland Counties GSDA club and started to make new friends.
'Rosetown Jack' came into our lives at this time. In 1987 I returned home with four month
old puppy 'Kelnik Fergus'. I started to travel all over the country with these two males
and had a lot of success showing them.
It's about this time that I became good friends with Brenda Plummer of the 'Hazelmead' affix.
We went on to share my affix 'Tregelberg' and started to have the dogs in joint names.
To this day we remain best friends
1995 saw the arrival of one special seven week old pup, he’s name 'Mirrwood Jurgen' (Tomas)
The love of my life.
2006 saw the arrival of 'Figo V Lerchenwald' (Figo) what a kind gentle dog he is.
And 2008 'Mirrwood Yogi' arrived. Yogi does everything to please me and it’s like he tries
so hard to be Tom. I could go on forever about the dogs and yes I have missed a lot of them out
in this insight to me and my dogs but they all have their place in my thoughts and heart.
Many of them will pop up on the site from time to time.
